The company is primarily engaged in the export of equipment for swimming pools, products for fluid handling, agriculture irrigation and solutions for water industrial treatment systems. In 2002, foundation of Aquaria Group which includes all the companies dedicated to the swimming pool sector. Aquaria change its name to Fluidra in the framework of the group's entry to the Stock Market in October 2007. The company has a registered office located in Sabadell in Barcelona, Spain. The company has traditionally had a deep knowledge of the markets and has been the one who has envisaged the right to establish new companies in the different countries, from Chile to the United States, and from Portugal or Belgium to Russia, from Morocco to the Arabic Emirates and from South Africa to Australia. Its first sale took place in Indonesia (to P.T. Wadin) in January 1988 and, a few years later, it was one of the five Spanish companies which took part in the process of rebuilding Kuwait. Also in the nineties, the company won the bid for building the swimming pool for the Sultan of Brunei. The company distributes, among others, filtration equipments, pool pumps, accessories for swimming pools like ladders or skimmers, valves and fittings in PVC and CPVC and polypropylene and, especially, big pumps and bobbin wound polyester tanks for public swimming pool and water treatment. Many Olympic swimming pools in the world and selective hotel-resorts in the best touristy spots have some of these products installed, as well as the most diverse equipment and accessories from the AstralPool, Cepex and Idrania brands among others. The company follows its policy of growth and expansion to all those countries in the world where the Group has not a specific commercial company. Its market comprises more than 150 countries and covers part of Europe, the Mediterranean area, Middle East, East Asia, the Pacific area and America. The company's export volume achieved nearly 19 million of Euros in 2010, a figure it has managed to maintain despite ceding the areas where new subsidiaries are established by the Group.
